Day 9 - Mooncake Festival

Yeah, the yue bing day is here! :D We had a mini party today, bascially eating moon cakes and playing 2-3 games. Today's degree = 18 + RAIN! Oh no, it was very very veryyyy cold just now! For once, I shivered. Previously, I complained that the weather was too hot but now again, I complained that the weather was too cold. Hahahha. Hard to please eh? The food at the soup restaurant was delicious! :) I love it so much because the soup was steaming hot and the weather was cold. So adds up = just nice! Hehehehe. I didn't went out for dinner just now and in the end, no dinner. :( Just a small pack of popcorn chicken. Thanks anyway. Oh, and I realised 1 difference between China and Singapore. During this festival, Singaporeans play lanterns. However, in China, they don't. We wanted to buy lanterns to play during the mooncake festival celebration but they told us "Huh? Lantern?" So I guess they don't play lanterns uh.... :)


Reflection

Today is Mooncake festival. I miss my family. I miss my friends. However, I am surprised that I get to eat mooncake here. I thought I will have to celebrate mooncake festival all by myself :( There seems to be a lot of people around me but I dont know why, I feel so lonely today. I think its because I miss my family too much. Now I know what is the meaning of family. Its to be there for you when you're lonely, share your joy and your sorrows, celebrate specials events together, get happy by only looking at their faces or hearing their voices......... Through this, I learnt how to cherish everything in life, especially my family. This trip will turn me into a more stronger person, being able to face every difficulties that are waiting right ahead of me!
