Day 26 – Wudang Shan trip! We woke up at 6am today to get ready for the Wudang Shan trip! Once again, we had a long long journey on the bus. I slept a lot on the bus because the bus ride was 5 hours. Then, we had lunch at 银街假日酒店. After lunch, our tour guide took us to a few places for sight-seeing and we were told that we would only be returning to our hotel during dinner time. We then started off our journey with 太子坡. We had to walk a few steps up the stairs before we could reach the place. While I was climbing just a few steps up, I was thinking “How am I going to make it for tomorrow?” That was because we had to challenge ourselves to climb all the way up to 金顶, which was roughly 4.5km up and another 4.5km down! I enjoyed myself the whole afternoon because I had a chance to understand the history of Wudang Shan, as well as going to such beautiful places. Therefore, the time flew really fast and soon it was dinner time!!!!! J I love really the hotel rooms they have there, though mine didn’t have any computers in the room….. Anyway, it doesn’t matter whether they have computers in every room. What matters to me was comfort as I really need to rest well to get ready for the “climbing” tomorrow. So, wish me luck! I hope I won’t give up! Reflection Being away from home for so long really made me home sick. However, with my friends around, time flies really fast and now, it is already the last week of the trip! I have never been to such historical places in other countries before. As such, it was really an eye opener to be able to experience every single thing they have there and I really find it interesting! :) I hope I will be able to go such places more often as this will allow me to understand the country even better.
♥stay tuned! 11:13:00 AM
