Day 14 - 3rd week of the trip

This is already the 3rd week of the trip. Almost half of the trip had gone by. :) Today, we had OIE lesson in the morning and PM practical in the afternoon. I kind of like today's OIE lesson because the topic was on "Dynasty and Philosophy". I've learnt about Xia Dynasty, Shang dynasty, Han dynasty, Qin dynasty and many more.... My OIE teacher, Ms Tao, let us watch videos on Lao Zi 老子 and Meng Zi 孟子so as to better understand them. :) This was what I learnt during the OIE lesson - Good qualities are to be followed while bad ones are to be corrected. :) And it is definitely true.

Today is Zhen Zhao's birthday! Let me wish him first yeah? HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZHEN ZHAO! :D We went to the restaurant that we first went to celebrate his birthday. I've got nothing to say but..... to say that.... I like the food they have there. Hahhaa. It was very delicious and filling. The guys also invited some China students over to celebrate Zhen Zhao's birthday together because he was always the one interacting with them. After dinner, we went to buy some bread. Eudora accidentally stepped on ice-cream! HAHAHAHA! So funny!

Reflection

Ms Tao's lesson today taught me something - Sometimes, it is good to act as a weak person rather than acting as a strong person. This is because the stronger ones will get beaten easily as they had already shown their strengths and people will know how to deal with them. The China students bought some presents for Zhen Zhao even though they just knew him for about 10 days....... This is called "true friendship" . :) Now I know the definition of "friendship" , finally. You do not need to know that person for a long period of time in order to show your friendship. Sincerity is the most important thing when it comes to friendship, which can be found in these China students. Being able to come over here for immersion programme made me grow more matured and I have also learnt something from the students here today! :)

Some photos for the day.....

♥stay tuned!
